Hollow Vale Wanderer

Hollow Vale Wanderer is a slower, atmospheric adventure about exploring an abandoned valley and piecing together what happened there. There's no combat to speak of; instead you solve environmental puzzles and follow trails of notes and ruins. It's melancholy in a good way.

The controls are simple point-and-tap movement with a few gesture puzzles. What carries it is the mood and the sound design, which does a lot of heavy lifting. We finished it in one long weekend and were quietly sad when it ended.
